Big Wheels Club
The Cycle Club of St. Xavier's High School, Jawalakhel
We are proud to share that Big Wheels Club, the Cycle Club of St. Xavier’s school, Jawalakhel, has successfully completed one year of cycling training sessions for students from Classes 6 to 10, alongside our dedicated teachers.
Over the past year, our journey has been about much more than just riding bicycles. The program included:
🚴Practical cycling workshops.
🏁 Fun and challenging slow cycle races.
🏁 Fun and challenging slow cycle races.
📚Theoretical sessions on the impact of cycling
🌏Awareness discussions on walking and public transport as solutions to climate change.
We are delighted to share that over 100 students showed interest in joining the club. From them, 30 students were selected for this year’s training program.
👏We proudly celebrate that:
✅80% of the students gained confidence and learned how to cycle properly.
✅100% of the students understood the impact of climate change and how walking, cycling, and using public transport can make a positive difference.
This initiative has not only developed cycling skills but has also nurtured environmentally responsible young citizens.
